Filinvest Malls Spread Holiday Cheer with Donation to HAP

Filinvest Malls executives hand over presentation checks to three beneficiaries: Hemophilia Advocates-Philippines, Muntinlupa Social Services Department and the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines.

November 15, 2024 - Festival Mall, Alabang, Muntinlupa – Filinvest Malls kicked off the holiday season with a P50,000 donation to the Hemophilia Advocates-Philippines (HAP). The donation is in support of HAP’s efforts to raise awareness for hemophilia and related health causes and is part of the mall's ongoing commitment to giving back to the community.

Paskong Pinoy: Festival Mall's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony showcased Filipino Christmas traditions and brought together children, families, and community leaders. Filinvest Mall's Vice President and Head for Corporate Marketing, Ms. Denise Rae Lagayan, Deputy CFO, Ms. Janeth B. Delos Reyes, Deputy General Manager, Ms. Yvette P. Dizon, First Vice President and Retail Business Head, Mr. Mitch A. Dumlao and Muntinlupa Deputy Officer Mr. Roger John Smith were among the esteemed guests alongside HAP representatives, Board Finance Officer Mr. Ric Felipe and Executive Director Ms. France Alviz.

A Day of Fun and Giving

The day featured exciting activities for some 20 children beneficiaries from the Muntinlupa Social Services Department, the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines, and Hemophilia Advocates-Philippines. The kids enjoyed meal packs from Jollibee, Kenny Rogers, J. Co, Goldilocks and Auntie Anne’s. They had fun trying the rides at Pixie Forest and the Grand Carousel, as well as early Christmas gifts from World Balance, Surge Fitness + Lifestyle, and others supporting shops.

The celebration culminated in the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Civic Hall, with choir and ballet performances, and appearances from beloved mascots including Jollibee, Santa Claus, and a Christmas elf.

Commitment to the Community

This generous donation and festive celebration reflect Filinvest Mall’s continuing commitment to helping better the communities they are in. As a long-time partner of HAP, the mall has supported important initiatives including the World Hemophilia Day earlier this year which benefitted over 250 patients and families.
